Edge & Mount Rx lenses
Some of the toughest challenges for edging Rx optical lenses into a frame are based on frame contour, material and bevel styles such as shelf, wrap, NBA, safety, or combination of two or more for complex prescriptions.
Although modern technology with high-end state of art edging machines can resolve some of these challenges, often the practitioner may still end up with patient complaints of visual discomfort or lenses warped or popping out of the frame several months later.
